Crimsafe Attains 3000 Hours in the 1000-hour Salt Spray Test - AS 2331.3.1

This industry standard measures the degree of corrosion, blistering, or under-creep of the test samples after exposure to very harsh weathering conditions in a controlled environment. It is conducted according to AS 2331.3.1 - Methods of test for metallic and related coatings - Corrosion and related property tests - Neutral salt spray (NSS) test.

A salt solution is sprayed at the test samples for 1000 hours, simulating 10 years of environmental exposure. Crimsafe test samples were sent to undergo the Salt Spray test for 3000 hours, simulating 30 years of environmental exposure.
