Scientifically conducted tests have shown that Crimsafe will reduce the intensity of naked flame and radiant heat by up to 45%; block solar heat by up to 56% and also block 30% of damaging UV rays.

Only Crimsafe security products easily surpass all relevant Australian Standards and Security Industry Standards. Rigorous and exhaustive testing has been carried out by the CSIRO and by the University of New South Wales School of Aerospace and Civil and Mechanical Engineering at the Australian Defence Force Academy.

Crimsafe security products have been rated for cyclonic conditions by BHP, Bluescope Lyshart and Curtin University WA and have also passed the punishing 1,000 hour salt spray corrosion test; Australian Standard AS2331.3.1.

Several demanding tests have been developed as a means of comparing the Crimsafe product with inferior copies. These tests have resulted in a product that has been carefully engineered to outperform all other products for longevity and strength under the most demanding environmental conditions.

Special tests were carried out which revealed that Crimsafe 304 structural grade stainless steel security mesh surpasses the most current Australian Standard AS5041 for dynamic impact testing. The results showed that Crimsafe surpassed the standard by five times for their residential product line and by an amazing twelve times for their exceptionally tough commercial product range; than the impact level as described in the latest Australian Standard AS5041.
